The secretary general of the Kurdstani National Federation, Jalal al-Talibani, and the leader of the Kurdistani Democratic Party, Masoud al-Barazani ,yesterday arrived in Paris to convene meetings and joint talks with high ranking officials there and to take part in the works of the special conference on the future of the Kurds in Iraq which will be held at the French Senate at the patronage of the Kurdish Institute in Paris next Friday.
The speaker of the French Senate Senator Bonsly will hold a dinner banquet in honor of the two Kurdish leaders during which issues concerning the Iraqi file will be discussed and French- Kurdish joint relations.
Both al-Talibani and al-Barazani will hold talks during the two coming days with the secretary general of the French communist party Francoise Holland and several members of the party's members, especially former speaker of the French Senate Laurent Fabois.
The two Kurdish leaders will be also meeting with the French Foreign Minister Dominique de Villepin and also several members of the National society.
Talibani will open the works of the conference at the French Senate which will discuss the future of the Kurds in Iraq, while Barazani will deliver a speech in conclusion of the conference's sessions which will be attended by specialists and researchers.
